Stephen Curry is not playing the next three games for the Warriors.

Curry will not play for about a week because of an injury.

Coach Steve Kerr said, "Every year in the playoffs, we must change. Maybe our plan, or if a player is hurt. We did this before, and we can do it again."

Game 2 is in Minneapolis on Thursday. Then, the games are in San Francisco for Game 3 on Saturday and Game 4 on Monday. Curry might come back for Game 5 on May 14.

Curry has a leg injury. We don't know when he will play again. The team needs him to win games.

Kerr said, "We think our team has the best defense. We showed this in the last months."

The team is different now. Before, they had good players like Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala. In 2018, they also had Kevin Durant.

The Warriors were happy after the first game. They played well together. Jimmy Butler, Buddy Hield, and Green were key players. The coach used 12 players in the game.

Butler will play a lot because Curry is not here. He scored many points and helped the team.

Everyone on the other team wants to play well and score points. They want to do this together as a group.
