Costco said on Thursday it is working with DoorDash.
DoorDash will deliver from Costco's U.S. warehouse stores.
DoorDash already delivers for Costco in a few markets.
These include Australia, Sweden and Puerto Rico.
But this is the first time the two companies work together across the whole U.S.
DoorDash is based in San Francisco.
DoorDash said many people searched for Costco on its U.S. app.
Costco was one of the most-searched stores not yet on the platform.
DoorDash said it will deliver food, household items and electronics.
It will deliver from all of Costco's U.S. stores.
Only Costco members can get delivery.
Members can link their membership to their DoorDash account.
Costco is based in Issaquah, Washington.
Costco has 81 million members around the world.
Most of them are in the U.S.
Costco has 639 stores in 47 states.
Costco has offered delivery through Instacart for almost ten years.
In 2024, Costco announced a partnership with Uber Eats.
Uber Eats is based in San Francisco.
But in that deal, Uber Eats only delivered in 17 states.
On Tuesday, Uber Eats said it is expanding Costco delivery across the U.S.
Uber Eats already delivers for Costco in other countries.
These include Japan, France, Spain, Canada and Mexico.
DoorDash and Uber Eats have been growing their grocery business in the U.S. in recent years.
Last fall, both companies announced partnerships with Kroger.
Kroger is the largest supermarket chain in the country.
