Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan plan to return to the UK from California within weeks.

They have put their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, into British schools for the autumn term.

The big question is whether Harry can fix his relationship with Prince William.

Harry has publicly complained about bad treatment by palace staff, racism in the royal family, and the monarchy’s problems.

There are also worries that the couple could take attention away from William and his wife Catherine.

The couple will live in a private home outside London and will not start royal duties again.

Their return comes as King Charles III, Harry’s 77-year-old father, continues cancer treatment.

Harry has said he wants his children to know their grandfather.

Royal historian Ed Owens said recent events created a way for the return.

He noted Harry’s wish for reconciliation and a good meeting with the king last month.

Owens expects Charles to forgive Harry, because the king must show Christian values.

He said William may find forgiveness harder in private, but in public he will likely show it because traditional values demand reconciliation.
