Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand has won the Miss World contest in Hyderabad, India this year. She won against 108 other women. Hasset Dereje Admassu from Ethiopia was second. The previous winner, Krystyna Pyszková, gave Chuangsri her crown. Stephanie del Valle and Sachiin Kumbhar hosted the show. India also held the competition last year. Nandini Gupta, the Indian contestant, got to the last 20. Six Indian women have won this competition before, most recently Manushi Chillar in 2017.
