Russian missiles and drones hit at least four areas in Ukraine during the night.

Five people died, officials said Tuesday.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said his forces damaged two more Russian oil refineries.

These were long-range strikes.

The attacks continued.

But the front line did not change much.

Zelenskyy planned to meet U.S. President Donald Trump and other world leaders.

They will meet at the U.N. General Assembly in New York.

He wants help to end Russia's full-scale invasion.

The invasion has lasted more than 4½ years.

Trump told Zelenskyy to stop strikes on Russian oil refineries and fuel sites.

Trump said these strikes cause shortages and higher prices around the world.

Kyiv started hitting refineries after Moscow attacked Ukraine's power grid many times.

Zelenskyy said he will stop these strikes if Russia stops attacking energy sites.

Zelenskyy also wants help to keep Ukrainian grain moving to world markets through the Black Sea.

Russian attacks on cargo ships have badly hurt Ukraine's exports.

In recent years, Russia and Ukraine supplied about 30% of world wheat exports.

They also supplied 12% of corn exports.

Most of this went through the Black Sea.

Last month, attacks cut both countries' farm exports by two-thirds.

Thomas de Waal of the Carnegie Europe think tank said this in a report Tuesday.

He said the missing grain puts several African countries at risk of famine.

French President Emmanuel Macron said France will send Ukraine more radar systems.

These will help protect Ukraine's power grid.

Macron said he talked with Trump about a possible truce.

The truce would stop strikes on energy sites.

It would also stop attacks in the Black Sea for a time.

Zelenskyy started his New York visit by meeting U.S. senators.

He thanked them for support from both parties.

In Kyiv, resident Iryna Panina said she had lost hope in international peace efforts.
