The agent runs on a secure virtual machine.

People can message Muse in a separate app or through WhatsApp.
It can handle simple tasks like sending an email or booking travel.
It can also handle bigger goals like creating a yearlong exercise plan.
Meta says that once a person shares a goal, Muse helps develop a personalized plan.
It also coordinates time and resources.
It can open a browser, fill out forms, and negotiate for the user.
Tech companies see AI agents as the next step after chatbots.
Chatbots only answer questions and retrieve information.
An AI agent can do jobs without step-by-step instructions.
It handles a whole process on its own.
For Meta, Muse fits CEO Mark Zuckerberg's vision of AI superintelligence for "everyone."
In a recent essay, he said everyone will have a personal agent.
This agent works 24/7 to improve relationships, health, career, and more.
He said it will free up time and help people do more.
The open question is whether people will actually use it.
