Asian stock markets went up on Tuesday, like US stocks, which are almost at their highest levels ever. This positive change is partly because trade problems between the US and China are getting better. The US has even stopped charging extra taxes on some Chinese products until August 31st. However, China has said that some things the US is doing are bad for its interests. Despite these problems, markets in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Australia, and Taiwan all went up. US oil prices also went up to $63.14 per barrel because people are worried about oil and gas supplies after attacks in Russia. US steel company stocks also rose after President Donald Trump said he would double the tax on imported steel to 50%. But this was not good for car makers and other companies that use a lot of steel and aluminum. Also, government bond returns increased because people are worried about the US government's growing debt.
