Japan's money is less. This happened in the first part of the year. The USA and Japan are not friends about money. This made people sad.
Japan made less things from January to March. It made 0.2% less than before. This is the first time in one year.
We sold less things to other countries. People bought the same amount of things. Companies bought more new things for their work.
Trump's taxes can be bad for big shops in Japan, like car shops. This is for things from Japan and other places, like Mexico and Canada. It is hard to plan because Trump changes his mind.
S&P says car companies in some areas may have problems. This is because it costs more to make cars and they may sell less.
Companies can have problems. This is because money and people buying things change.
Japan has money problems. Old people are many, and young people are few. They do not have many babies.
The Bank of Japan is a bank. The bank raised interest rates a little. Prices are going up a little.
The news says the economy is not strong. So, the bank may not raise rates.
Some people say: make the tax of 10% less. This can help people.
But Shigeru Ishiba is the Prime Minister. He has not said yes. Japan has money problems now.
The money in the country went up a little in 2024.
