Israeli airstrikes killed at least 12 people in Gaza over the last two days. Local health officials said this on Wednesday. The strikes happen almost every day. This is true even with a ceasefire with Hamas. The ceasefire is months old.

On Wednesday, three family members died in central Gaza. Al Aqsa Hospital officials said this. On Tuesday, a woman and six police officers died. An airstrike hit a police station in the Jabaliya refugee camp. A man died in a bombing of a tent camp in Khan Younis. Israeli forces also shot and killed a child in the Muwasi area. Hospital officials said this.

The Israeli military did not talk about the strikes in central and southern Gaza. About the Jabaliya attack, it said four dead police officers were Hamas militants. It did not give evidence. One officer was Col. Mohamad Marwan Salem. He was a senior police commander. The Hamas-run Interior Ministry said this.

The United Nations human rights office condemned attacks on Gaza's police. It said police personnel were attacked at least 12 times in 2026. This included attacks during normal police work. The ceasefire deal in October tried to stop a two-year war. At least 1,123 people have died in Gaza since the ceasefire started. The territory's Health Ministry said this.
