South Korea stopped playing loud messages against North Korea at the border. The new government wants to make peace between the two countries. This is the first step.
Last June, South Korea started using big speakers again. They stopped for many years. They did this because North Korea sent balloons with trash.
South Korea's army said on Wednesday they want to be friends with North Korea and have peace in Korea.
Last year, North Korea sent many balloons to South Korea. The balloons had trash. North Korea said they did this because South Korea sent balloons with messages and music.
North Korea does not like it when people from other countries say bad things about its leader, Kim Jong Un.

North Korea wanted nuclear bombs. South Korea and the U.S. did army practice together. This made problems worse.
Lee Jae-myung is the new president of South Korea. He wants to make friends with North Korea. North Korea was angry with the old president and did not talk.
