LONDON (AP) — Keir Starmer is the UK leader. He said he wants fewer people to come to the UK. He said it will be more difficult to live in the UK.
Starmer's party won. Some people don't like many people coming here. They think it is bad for schools and hospitals.
Borders are hard. Two big parties lost votes.
Starmer said: We will make rules stronger for people who come here. We want a good system.
Many people come to Britain. They come from other countries. This is important for Britain. This was more important after 2004. More countries joined the EU then. Some countries said 'no' to people for some time. But Britain said 'yes' to people for work.
David wanted fewer people. This did not happen. People were angry. Britain left.

Starmer said the government will make the borders safe.
He said before, many people came to the country. Now, not many people come.
New rules: fewer jobs for people from other countries.

"This is bad," he said.
Starmer said the UK will help UK workers learn.
You must live in the UK for 10 years to be a citizen.
He said people can come here. But we need rules. Then we can be together.
Some people did not like his words.
Chris said the plan is not good.
He said, "Many people do not want many people to come here."
