People from other countries came to the U.S. Some people in the U.S. wanted to send them to Libya. But they are not from Libya. Lawyers said Libya is not a good place for them. A judge said they can stay for now. They can talk to the court first.

Some people must leave the country. The government wants to send them to a different country. This is a difficult plan for some people.

Sending people to Libya is not good because people there hurt migrants.

A person from the U.S. said a plane will take people to Libya soon.

Some people from Vietnam, Laos, and the Philippines said police told them they had to go to Libya. Some said police told them they had to go to Saudi Arabia.

Police officers took six people in Texas. They told them to sign a paper to go to Libya.

The lawyers wrote: "They said no. So they were put in different rooms and tied up. They did this so they would sign it."

A man from the Philippines had a lawyer. The lawyer wrote to the government. The man was afraid to go to Libya. He wanted to talk to someone before he went.

This means the other government in the east of Libya. This other government is led by a strong soldier, Khalifa Hifter. Libya has two governments, one in the east and one in the west. Armed groups and other countries support these governments.

A group in eastern Libya said they will not take people from the U.S.

The army will not let the migrants come to their areas.

People hurt migrants in prisons in Libya. The U.N. says this is very bad.

Migrants said people hurt them many times. Their bodies had marks from old and new injuries.
