One juror wanted to find Lindsay Clancy guilty of murder.
His name is Michael Desronvil.
He said he was sure she was guilty.
He said the other jurors would not listen to him.
His lawyer shared this statement on Friday.
It was his first public comment about the case.
Eleven of the 12 jurors wanted to say Clancy was not responsible for a crime.
Most of them felt she was a mother in Massachusetts.
They believed she had postpartum psychosis when she killed her children by squeezing their necks.
Desronvil agreed with the prosecutors.
The prosecutors said Clancy knew what she was doing.
In the statement, Desronvil said he had no doubts.
The jury leader told a reporter that Desronvil said he had reasonable doubt.
But he still wanted to find her guilty.
Desronvil said that was not true.
The jurors could not agree.
So the judge stopped the trial on Sept. 4.
This is called a mistrial.
The district attorney in Plymouth County has not said if he will try Clancy again.
No one disagreed that Clancy killed her children.
Their names were Cora, Dawson and Callan.
She killed them in the family's home in 2023.
Then she tried to end her own life.
Her lawyer said she was a loving mother.
She had deep false beliefs and other mental health problems.
She was getting treatment for them.
After the trial, some people praised Desronvil.
Others criticized him.
People looked closely at his personal life.
They also looked at his past money and legal problems.
During jury selection, he had a restraining order against him.
He also faced eviction because he owed more than $12,000 in rent.
In 2021, someone said he hurt them at home.
That charge was later dropped.
His lawyer said he is in a safe, secret place in rural northern New England.
A fundraiser for his safety, lawyers and lost work has raised over $289,000.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Florida would give him asylum if Desronvil is being harassed.
