The jury is now in its fourth day of talks in this closely watched case.

Clancy used to work as a nurse helping women give birth.

She does not say she did not kill her three children.

She says she is not guilty because she was not able to think clearly.

Her lawyers say postpartum psychosis made her do it.

Prosecutors say she knew what she was doing.

The jury can say she is guilty of murder or manslaughter, or they can say she is not guilty.

If she is guilty, she could go to prison for life.

If she is not guilty, a judge could still send her to a mental hospital if she is dangerous.

If the jury cannot agree, the judge may end the trial.

Then prosecutors would decide if they want to try her again.

Clancy killed Cora, Dawson, and Callan.

They were 5 years old, 3 years old, and 8 months old.

She used exercise bands in her basement.

Then she jumped from a window.

Now she cannot move from the waist down.

Her husband, Patrick Clancy, spoke in court.

He said he forgives her.

The trial has been about mental health for mothers after they have a baby.
