Donald Trump is the president. A new doctor may help people. She wrote that some drugs may help. She said that mushrooms helped her find love.
Dr. Casey says: Think about help with psilocybin. But psilocybin is not legal in the USA. Some places like Oregon and Colorado say it is OK, but some towns in Oregon say no.
The doctor tells people how to be healthy. They give tips to stop sickness. Long ago, a doctor said smoking is bad. This helped people in America.
Some people are famous, like Dr. Koop. He worked for President Reagan. Other people are not famous.
Mr. Means is new. Mr. Trump knows people. These people are on TV. Mr. Trump picked Mr. Means because Mr. Kennedy said, "Good!". Mr. Trump does not know Mr. Means.
Means went to Stanford. She worked in a hospital in Oregon. She did not finish. We called Means. She did not talk to us.
She wrote a book in 2024 called "Good Energy". Her brother, Calley Means, helped her. He works for the government now.
The book is about feeling good. Casey Means says it is about "good energy". She has ideas to help people. Her ideas can help with stress and bad thoughts. This can help you feel better.
One idea is to try help with psilocybin. This is in some mushrooms. She writes about it in a long text.
She said, "If you want, you can try help with special mushrooms. They can help you a lot, like they helped me."
Some studies say that psychedelics can be good. But we do not know if the good things are bigger than the bad things. Psilocybin can make you see things for hours. These things can be good or bad. It can help with talking to someone for problems or drinking too much. But we do not know much about it for people who are okay. It can make your heart go faster, make you sick, or give you a headache. It can be bad to take it if no one is watching you. Seeing things can make you walk into the road or do other bad things.
Means said that some drugs are not liked. She said MDMA can help people who are sad after bad things. But a group said MDMA is not good for them now.
Means talks about some drugs in her book. She says they are like "plant medicine." She took mushrooms in January 2021. She felt she needed to do it.
She said, "I felt like I was with many moms and babies from long ago." She also said, "Psilocybin can show you a new world. In this world, you don't think about yourself so much."
In October, she wrote that she used some things to find love. She did this with people she knew. She said it is not for everyone.
This month, Means talked about health. She wants good food in schools. She wants labels on some foods. She wants to check if vaccines are safe. She also wants fair research. She wants to study other ways to be healthy.
Calley Means likes new drugs. He wrote that one drug helped him a lot. In 2022, he used his money to buy stocks in drug companies. He did not talk to us about this.
We do not know when Casey Means will have a meeting. Trump picked Means. Some people asked questions about Janette Nesheiwat. She was Trump's first pick. She will not have the job.
