Apple showed its newest iPhones on Wednesday.

One model is called the Duo.

It can fold.

The new CEO is John Ternus.

He showed the phones at Apple's home in Cupertino, California.

He started the job on Sept. 1.

He took over from Tim Cook.

Before he showed the Duo, Ternus said, "actually there is one more thing."

Steve Jobs said that same phrase.

Jobs started Apple and died later.

Ternus said the Duo has the biggest screen ever on an iPhone.

But it still fits in a pocket.

It opens to a 7.6-inch screen.

That is 80% bigger than the newest iPhone 18 Pro.

People can also use an Apple Pencil with it.

Before, only iPads used the pencil.

The Duo can split the screen.

Two apps can share the screen.

Or two windows of the same website can.

It costs $1,999.

It is the most expensive iPhone yet.

Ben Wood is an analyst at CCS Insight.

He said the Duo would always be the big news.

He said it is Apple's first step into foldable phones.

Foldable phones are still a small market.

They are less than 5% of all phone sales.

The iPhone 18 Pro costs $1,199.

The 18 Pro Max costs $1,299.

Preorders start Sept. 12.

The phones arrive Sept. 18.

The Duo comes Oct. 23.

The new models have longer battery life.

They charge faster.

The cameras are better too.

They can track focus in a smart way.

Apple also talks up Siri's new AI features.
