Aaron Judge will miss most or all of the rest of the regular season.
The New York Yankees said this on Friday.
They are putting him on the 10-day injured list.
The injury is a strain in his right calf.
New York said it will make the roster move on Saturday.
The move could start from Thursday.
That means Judge could come back for New York's last regular-season game on Sept. 27.
Judge left the game for a pinch hitter in the sixth inning on Wednesday.
The game was against the Minnesota Twins.
He felt pain in his leg.
At the time, he said it was just to be safe.
Judge was 4 for 26 with 13 strikeouts and one extra-base hit in seven games.
He came back last week from a broken rib.
That injury kept him out of the lineup for more than three months.
