John Fisher owns the A's team. He stood in front of many people. He said, "We are Vegas' team." Behind him was the new baseball park. There was dirt and big trucks there.

Many people watched the team start building a new baseball park. It will be very big and ready in 2028.

Nevada and Clark County will give money for the project. It is up to $380 million.

Marc Badain, the team leader, said, "I think it will be finished in 2028. The workers are here and ready to begin."

"It's good to see this day. The next three years will be good for our town, the building work, and jobs. You will see this building grow from the ground soon."

Badain worked for the Raiders football team before. He helped them move to Las Vegas in 2020. He also helped build their big new stadium.

The Raiders waited for their new stadium for three years. They stayed in Oakland and played in the same stadium as the A's. Many Raiders fans still liked the team. But A's fans were angry because the Raiders were leaving.

That made it hard for the team to stay in Oakland. They played their last games in the old stadium last year. Now, the team is playing in West Sacramento for a few years. They are waiting to move to Las Vegas.

We are a team from this town, Fisher said. We want young fans. If children like us, their parents will like us too. It is fast. Winning takes time.

We want to keep getting better. Making a team is like making something new. It can take a long time. Like building a big place. We think we have what we need to do well.

Bally's has a big area. It is at Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard. They will build a stadium there. The old hotel was taken down to make space for the stadium.

The A's team wants to play well in their current city and also plan for their new city. The players have two different pictures on their shirts. One picture is of a bridge from Sacramento. The other picture is a sign for Las Vegas. They have a three-year agreement with Las Vegas.

A group in Las Vegas said "yes" to papers for the A's team. This means the A's team will move to Las Vegas soon.

The new stadium looks like the Sydney Opera House. You can see the Las Vegas Strip from a window. The seats will have air conditioning.

This stadium will be small. Tropicana Field is a bigger stadium. It has 25,000 seats when part of it is closed. It has almost 40,000 seats when it is all open.

The Rays team cannot play in their stadium. A big storm broke it. They might move to a new city and get new owners soon.

Cleveland plays at Progressive Field. Now, 34,830 people can sit there. It was bigger in 1994.

The A's team will come to Las Vegas. Now Las Vegas has the Raiders, Golden Knights, Aces, and A's.

Manfred said, "Many people live here. Other sports are popular. Many tourists come here. So, this is a good place for our team." He also said, "I think this team will do very well in Vegas."
