Coco Gauff reached the French Open quarterfinals with an easy win, even though she had forgotten her rackets earlier, which led to playful teasing from fellow American Frances Tiafoe. Tiafoe, who had made the same mistake before, jokingly called Gauff "Mrs. Mature." Gauff replied by talking about how mature professional tennis players need to be, but she admitted she couldn't think of a good comeback to his joke. Despite this incident, Gauff will play Madison Keys in an all-American match in Wednesday's quarterfinals. Gauff also mentioned that people often see her as mature because of her early success in tennis, like when she became famous at Wimbledon at 15 and won her first major title at 19.
