This remarkable feat places Shohei Ohtani in the esteemed company of Gil Hodges and Cody Bellinger, marking only the 64th instance in Major League Baseball history of a player achieving this milestone, and the first since Pete Alonso of the New York Mets accomplished it in 2023.

Shohei Ohtani, a three-time MVP and current MLB home run leader, punctuated the game against the Cleveland Guardians with a two-run homer, adding to his team's score and marking his fourth opposite-field home run this season.

It is noteworthy that even Shohei Ohtani's missed swings can metaphorically translate into home runs, evidenced by his two instances this season of achieving home runs in three consecutive games.

Since joining the Dodgers, this four-time All-Star has distinguished himself with three separate months in which he hammered at least a dozen home runs.
