Alpine team has a new driver. It is Franco Colapinto. Jack Doohan is not the driver now.
Flavio will work for the team. He will do the work of Oliver.
Colapinto races with Pierre Gasly. They race together now. Alpine will look again in July.
Alpine is number nine in F1 teams. The next race is on May 16, 17, 18. It is in Imola.
On Sunday, Doohan hit a car. Then he crashed.
The new driver from Australia will stay.
Doohan was in seven races. He did not get points. His best place was 13. Now he is the team's extra driver.
Jack Doohan is a car driver. His father is a famous motorcycle driver. Jack drove a Formula 1 car in 2024. He drove for the Alpine team in Australia this year. He took the place of Esteban Ocon.
Colapinto is a driver. He joined Alpine in January. Before, he was a driver for Williams. He got five points.
