Houthi rebels in Yemen took two islands.
The islands are Greater Hanish and Lesser Hanish.
They are in the southern Red Sea.
This helps the rebels control a shipping route.
The rebels are backed by Iran.
Houthi officials spoke on Monday.
They said their forces took the islands.
Saudi-backed forces tried to take back land near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
A Saudi oil pipeline was hit last week.
Repairs could take three to five weeks.
Two regional officials said this.
The officials did not give their names.
One official said the East-West Pipeline may work partly during repairs.
The Houthis also took the Red Sea port of Mokha.
This puts more pressure on Saudi oil shipments.
It also puts pressure on world oil supplies.
China buys a lot of oil from the Middle East.
China called the Houthi attacks "unacceptable."
The attacks hit Saudi energy sites.
China said it is "deeply concerned" about more attacks.
An Iranian official spoke.
His name is Esmail Baghaei.
He is a spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry.
He said Saudi Arabia "demanded" to cancel a meeting.
The meeting was about the Strait of Hormuz.
Saudi Arabia wanted to cancel it "for the time being."
The International Organization for Migration spoke.
It said almost 94,000 people fled their homes in Yemen.
The fighting got worse this month.
The World Health Organization spoke.
It said more than 500 people died in the week ending Saturday.
Israeli strikes hit Gaza on Monday.
They killed two people.
Hospital officials and the health ministry said this.
The B'Tselem human rights group spoke.
It said Israel is doing a project.
The project aims to "dismantle the foundations of Palestinian existence."
This is in the occupied West Bank.
