Asian markets started lower on Friday after Israel attacked near Iran's capital. This event has made people more worried about Iran's nuclear program, which caused oil prices, including U.S. and Brent crude oil, to go up. Stock markets in Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Australia all went down. However, Xu Tiachen from The Economist Intelligence believes Asian markets will probably get better quickly. This is because they are not very involved in the conflict and have stronger business ties with stable regions like Saudi Arabia and the UAE, even though the Israeli attack creates some global risks. On Thursday, U.S. stock markets rose after good news about inflation. This news also caused government bond yields to drop, suggesting that the Federal Reserve might lower interest rates later this year. But, people are still concerned about how Trump's changing tariffs could affect inflation and if there might be an economic recession.
