Japan's money went down a little in the first part of the year. This is because of problems with selling things to other countries.
Japan's money is less. It went down by 0.2% in January, February, and March. This is not good.
Sales to other countries went down a little. People spent the same amount of money. Companies spent more money.
Trump's taxes may hurt big companies in Japan that sell cars. They sell cars from Japan, Mexico, and Canada. It is hard to plan because Trump changes his mind.
S&P said: Car companies in some areas may have to pay more money. They may not sell as many cars. This is because they make cars and get parts from many places.
Companies can sell things.
If people pay more, companies can have problems.
Japan has money problems. Old people and not many babies make it hard.
The Bank of Japan is a bank. It is making interest rates higher. This is because wages are okay and prices are going up.
The news says the economy is not strong. So, the bank may not raise rates.
Some people say: "Lower the tax!" The tax is now 10%. It is like a shop tax. This can help people who have problems.
But Shigeru Ishiba has not said yes. Japan does not have much money now.
