A new law in Peru makes some people angry. They say it is bad for the trees.
People can cut trees on their land. They do not need to ask the government. Some people are not happy about this.
"This is very bad for us," said Alvaro Masquez Salvador.
He said, "Forests are for all people."
People like the change. It helps farms in Peru. It helps farmers.
News people asked many people in Peru who grow food. They also asked Maria Zeta Chunga. She is a woman in the government who likes the new law. Only one person who grows food talked. They said they did not want to say anything.
Peru has big forests. Many trees and animals live there. Some people live there too. They help the forest. The trees help the world.
Old law said OK for forest change. New law says no OK. Landowners cut trees.
Peru court say OK to law.
The court said sorry. It said ask the Indigenous people about the law change. The Environment Ministry helps with forest rules.
César says: "The court is wrong. The tribes are right."
Peru big farms want less rules. Like Brazil before.
In Peru, some people help. Some people have big farms. Some people take land. Some people do bad things with rocks and drugs. Some small farmers help too. They want their land to be safe.
Bad people and good people want the same things.
