On Wednesday, its shares went up a lot.

They rose as much as 629% at the start.

The company got about 6.1 billion yuan.

That is $904 million.

It sold shares on the STAR market.

Its shares closed 460% higher.

They were 845 yuan.

That is $125.31.

Advanced robots are important.

China and the U.S. compete in this area.

China makes more robots.

It has bigger factories.

Last year, Unitree and AGIBOT each sent over 5,000 human-like robots to the world.

U.S. companies made fewer.

Omdia says this.

For the first half of 2026, Omdia thinks Chinese makers will send about 18,500 robots.

Analysts say many human-like robots are for shows and study now.

Can companies do good work in big factories?

Unitree said it will use the money from the share sale.

It will use it for robot research and making more robots.

Unitree is the first human-like robot maker to sell shares in mainland China.

Its first day was the same day as the World Robot Conference in Beijing.

The company made about 1.7 billion yuan in 2025.

That is $250 million.

Over 40% of that came from other countries.

The U.S. gave about 13% of its money last year.

But the U.S. has a ban on new foreign-made robots.

This could hurt future sales.
