Actor Sam Neill died from pneumonia.

His agent said this on Thursday.

Neill died Monday in Sydney.

His family had earlier announced this.

Grenz said Neill beat lymphoma.

He used a treatment called CAR-T therapy.

Then he became sick.

The New Zealand actor told people about his lymphoma in 2023.

He said he was cancer-free in April this year.

Neill made four projects in the past year.

They will come out soon.

His family will have a private memorial.

It will be at his New Zealand farm later.

Grenz said Neill was very private.

He did not like a big fuss.

Tributes came from people he worked with.

They include director Taika Waititi and Steven Spielberg.

Neill was known for films like "Jurassic Park" and "The Piano."

He also made wine.

He sold it under his Two Paddocks brand.

He is survived by four children and eight grandchildren.
